Edgar Gutiérrez and his son Heider Gutiérrez acquired the Las Sombras farm in 2013. Initially they grew Caturra, but later they switched to other varieties such as Colombia and Castillo. They presented these two varieties at Expo Tolima 2023, where they reached 10th place among the best coffees in Tolima. They went through a pre-selection process that included more than 100 samples. This was the first time they participated in such events. Participation helped them better understand the world of specialty coffee and opened many doors for Heider and Edgar.
The farm is located two hours from Chaparral, Tolima, the nearest city. One hour is done on mule back and the other by car to reach the city. Currently they have plans to grow varieties such as Geisha.

How will the goods be delivered?
We use DHL for shipments up to 30kg and GLS for shipments up to 35kg. Your order will be delivered to Ireland and Belgium via UPS.
When will my delivery be free?
Within Germany we ship your order free of charge for orders over 30€.
For the remaining EU countries, your order will be delivered free of charge for orders worth 150€ or more.
How long does it take until I receive my shipment?
Your order will be processed and shipped within 1-2 working days. You should therefore expect a delivery time of 3-4 working days within Germany.
To other EU countries 4-6 working days. Switzerland and UK 5-8 working days.
Can I return the goods?
You can send the goods (provided they are unopened/unused) back to us via email within 14 days of notification. We will then process the return accordingly and arrange a refund.
