Farm: La Mina

The farm covers 80 hectares, where coffee and plantains are grown. Daniel saw specialty coffee as an opportunity to increase the value of his crop. He experiments with different processing methods such as natural, honey and semi-washed to find out which method suits his coffees best. The main varieties grown include Castillo, Bourbon Amarillo, Gesha and Pacamara.

He has also integrated plantains into his coffee plantations. These not only serve as a natural protective barrier, but also support him in times of poor harvests.

We met Daniel through Ana María Donneys – his cousin and a school friend of Col-Spirit founder María.

The average monthly temperature on the farm is 23°C, with highs of 28°C and lows of 15°C.

FAQ

How will the goods be delivered?

We use DHL for shipments up to 30kg and GLS for shipments up to 35kg. Your order will be delivered to Ireland and Belgium via UPS.

When will my delivery be free?

Within Germany we ship your order free of charge for orders over 30€.

For the remaining EU countries, your order will be delivered free of charge for orders worth 150€ or more.

How long does it take until I receive my shipment?

Your order will be processed and shipped within 1-2 working days. You should therefore expect a delivery time of 3-4 working days within Germany.

To other EU countries 4-6 working days. Switzerland and UK 5-8 working days.

Can I return the goods?

You can send the goods (provided they are unopened/unused) back to us via email within 14 days of notification. We will then process the return accordingly and arrange a refund.
