Los Nogales is a traditional specialty coffee farm in the Huila Mountains of Colombia, situated at an altitude of over 1,900 meters, where classic Arabica varieties have been cultivated for generations. For their Typica "Low-Caf," the farm combines itsterroir-focused cultivation with innovative, gentle processing methods, which create an exceptionally clear and vibrant cup profile.

Farm & Philosophy

Los Nogales works by hand and places the greatest value onSelection of ripe coffee cherriesSustainable cultivation methods and controlled processing are used to develop the full aroma spectrum of the Typica variety. Each harvest is specifically selected for ripeness and density.

Processing & Low-Cafe Process

Harvesting & Sorting:The coffee cherries are picked by hand at optimal ripeness and stored in water to exclude lighter, unripe fruits.

Fermentation & Washing:After peeling, the fresh fruit pulp ferments for approximately...24 hours anaerobic, before the beans are thoroughly washed.

Decaf step on the farm:The low-cafe process takes place entirelydirectly on the farmThe beans are soaked several times in hot water to open the pores, and then with anatural solvent made from our own coffee pulp (must)The process gently extracts most of the caffeine. This farm-specific method reduces the caffeine content to approximately...0.13%without losing structural integrity and aromatic complexity.

Drying:Finally, the beans are carefully and gently dried over several days to stabilize moisture, sweetness and clarity in the cup.

How will the goods be delivered?

We use DHL for shipments up to 30kg and GLS for shipments up to 35kg. Your order will be delivered to Ireland and Belgium via UPS.

When will my delivery be free?

Within Germany we ship your order free of charge for orders over 30€.

For the remaining EU countries, your order will be delivered free of charge for orders worth 150€ or more.

How long does it take until I receive my shipment?

Your order will be processed and shipped within 1-2 working days. You should therefore expect a delivery time of 3-4 working days within Germany.

To other EU countries 4-6 working days. Switzerland and UK 5-8 working days.

Can I return the goods?

You can send the goods (provided they are unopened/unused) back to us via email within 14 days of notification. We will then process the return accordingly and arrange a refund.
